You can find all this on the RIGHT side!
You can choose one or ALL. We are not picky! & be sure to let us know you are a new follower!

3 favorite heroines, books they're in, and why you love them.

  • Hermione from Harry Potter - I am sure this will be on more than just my list, but I feel as though she should be the first one on here. For the age I was when I started reading these novels, she was everything that I wanted to be at that age. Smart, strong, beautiful and not worried at all about standing up for herself and going after what she wants. She also rides that fine grey line between right and wrong that I often find myself riding as well.. Made her character that much more easy to relate to.
  • Vix from Summer Sisters - This was the first book I read by Judy Blume that was written for adults. I fell in love with it instantly. This is and forever will be my favorite novel of all time. She is able to be related to on all levels. There was not a moment in this novel that I didn't feel as though I was RIGHT there with her going through what she was. You get to follow her from a child to an adult and everything in between. She is someone that lives on in your heart years and years after reading her story.
  • Katniss from The Hunger Games - I don't know if this is super obvious & some might even think she doesn't need to be on this list, but I completely loved her. She put every single person in the world before herself. Not many people would chose dying over having to kill someone else to live. Her heart is the same heart we have, indecisive. She cares too much and her emotions run her. It's like she is my spirit animal or something.

    1. I almost didn't! I didn't know how good it would be since she is normally a child author.. I was not disappointed though!

  6. I almost chose both Hermoine and Katniss but I had so many contenders that I decided to cut it down to books I have read over the last couple of years. I agree that they are both super strong female leads worthy of the honor!

  10. Katniss and Hermione were both choices I considered, but since the prompt was for only 3, I had to make hard choices. I've never really liked anything I've read by Blume, but I may give Summer Sisters a try!
