Carly Phillips, along with Erika Wilde completely rocked my socks off with Dirty Sexy Saint. It was everything I thought it would be just from the title alone.
Samantha thought she had everything she wanted, but it turns out she wanted so many other things that seemed to be so far out of her reach. Like most of us, she has parents who think that they know what is best for their child and (unlike most of our parents), decided to control each and every aspect of her life. Right down to the person she is being FORCED to marry. Feeling like she cannot breathe in that life anymore, she does what any sane person would do - she runs. She also gets amazingly drunk off of all kinds of drinks that have completely dirty and amusing names. I feel in love with her at that very moment!
The chemistry between the two of them is off the charts. Phillips and Wilde sure do know how to write some combustible scenes! I am fairly positive I might have had to change my panties at least twice. I wouldn't have had it any other way though. Without those scenes, this novel would not have flowed the way it should have.. The secondary characters should also be touched on, because this book would not have been the same without them. I am SO excited to read about Clay's brothers. The bits and pieces I got from this out of this novel have me waiting so impatiently to get my hands on them! So much to uncover.

Facing the past he did while raising the two brothers who mean the entire world to him - it's amazing that he has anything left in his heart to give to someone else. Rough, sexy, ALPHA to the core, he has a heart of gold and never ceases to amaze me by putting every single person before him.. Even a complete stranger like Samantha. Clay is one of those people who helps others.. At one point in time he was the one who needed the help, so he knows the struggle. He has the kindest soul and at no point in this book was I NOT rooting for him. He needs a happy ending just as much, if not more, than the next person!

Angie’s brows rose in surprise as she took in Samantha’s designer purse and high-end attire. “Are you sure about that? My favorite bar is a far cry from The Aviary,” she said of the upscale lounge where the wealthy went to mingle and be seen. “The place I hang out at is a bit on the…unrefined side,” she said with a laugh.
Samantha grinned. “That’s exactly what I’m counting on.”

I didn't want this book to end simply because I wasn't ready to let them go.

MASON! I was so excited when I found out that Mason's book was going to be the second one! I just KNEW that I needed to know his story. I also had a feeling about the female that was going to pop up and I was so very excited when I was right! I knew in my heart that this was just meant to be! Carly and Erika did not disappoint here!
Katrina put up with way more than any woman ever should have. Having a best friend who is basically a man-whore is something that takes every ounce of you to deal with. Imagine being in love with that very man-whore -- every since you were kids. My heart broke for her over and over again in Dirty Sexy Saint. I wanted so much for her heart to be mended and I just felt like it was never going to happen. Then I picked up Dirty Sexy Inked and just knew I was going to get to see how Katrina was able to find inner peace and work out what she needed to.. But most of all I got to watch her find HERSELF. She went through hell and back in her childhood and a lot of that carried over and morphed her into the person she is today. Aside from the tragic that was her childhood, she is an exceptional woman. Rooting for her is an understatement. I was WILLING fate to make this happen!
I loved watching their story unfold. It wasn't quick. It wasn't easy, but above all it was real. I felt every single emotion coming from the both of them. I wanted to kick them.. and scream at them.. and I might have thrown the kindle one or two times while reading this one, but I just WANTED it so bad! Phillips and Wilde delivered once again. The scorching scenes are pantie changers - I honestly believe these scenes are hotter than those of the first novel.. and I didn't think that was even possible! We got to see Sam and Clay again! Also Levi. Again the secondary characters light up this novel. Completely comical those three!

“Her heart was already engaged, now even more so. And her body was forever ruined for any other man.”Mason is a jerk. Not even kidding. He knows it as well. He tells people up front what to expect and he makes no apologies for himself. Why should he? What most people do not know is that Mason uses his man-whore ways to cope with the crappy past he had. Having never been able to find a reasonable way to cope and move on, he resorted to the only thing he knew to help him forget. Then he begins to see things right in front of him for what they really are. Harboring feelings for your best friend for so long will ultimately end in disaster or love. Mason is unsure which this will end in so he never acts on it.. Until that one fateful night in Vegas. Picking up the pieces and trying to drive forward isn't something Mason.. or Katrina are used to - but it seems as though they are trying to figure out how to do just that. I guess what happens in Vegas sometimes doesn't stay in Vegas.

“They were two damaged people who’d managed to heal each other with something as simple as unconditional love. The fact that they were best friends who had phenomenal sex was a bonus.”Again, I recommend this novel to anyone who loves romance and suspense.. or just scorching pages! Such an amazing flow to the story. I was kept guessing and I could barely put this novel down! Stay tuned for my review of Dirty Sexy Cuffed -- Levi's story!
