What Are Your Favorite Genres in Books?

My all time favorite book genre is Romantic Suspense. I don't know why, but this genre has just always spoken to me. It was one of the first genres I have ever read and it has stuck with me every since. I love Men in Uniform novels, and more often than not - these novels fall into that category. There is something about picking up a book, diving head first into it and NOT knowing what is going to come 2 chapters later. I love novels that keep me guessing - they are all the more fun to read!

Lately I have gotten into New Adult novels as well. I read one from time to time awhile back.. I would throw it in there when I was in a slump, or when one just jumped out and said READ ME NOW! I have found myself reading more and more lately. Even though I am not longer in that time frame, the novels still captivate me and I love reading the life and times of those living a life I have lived.

Outside of those, I will read just about anything that is not Historical Fiction. I don't know why, but I have never been able to get into that genre. Not saying it isn't good - it just isn't for me.

  1. Yes, Romantic Suspense is my current favorite genre. I can't get enough! I discovered Laura Griffin's books recently and I just want to binge read them all!
I also love NA, but have to take breaks from it. All I read was NA a few years ago, and I got a little burnt out. But when the mood strikes, I still love the genre.
